MY REVIEW: I have received a review copy of “The Promises of Love” from the author Roozan Aggarwal in exchange for an honest review.
The author has tried to depict an ideal love story in his debut book.
Siddhant and Shivyanka meet in school and become the best of friends. They part when Shivyanka’s parents admit her to another school. However, Shivyanka extracts a promise from Siddhant that he will do well in his studies.
Siddhant takes his promise to heart and starts to perform well academically. Fate decrees that the two childhood friends meet again and they now fall in love. But they face the customary hurdles in their relationship.
The two friends part again and embark on their individual paths but meet yet again.
The story revolves around Siddhant and Shivyanka’s friendship and later romance and whether they finally get their happy ending or not.
The enjoyment of the book is marred by the numerous spelling and grammatical errors in the book.
