MY REVIEW: The author Aarish Nandedkar provided me with a copy of his book in exchange for an honest review.

The story begins with Riley Stacy, an ambitious young interior designer wooing a beautiful young woman, not for love, but in order to win the Biz Award. It is extremely important to Riley to win this award and he works single-mindedly towards this goal.

Unfortunately Riley over-spends to fulfil his goal and ends up being on the run from loan sharks. He takes shelter in an abandoned railway yard, only to encounter the mysterious April, a fierce lovely young woman who tends to his wounds.

Riley is forced to stay with April till his wounds heal and his money woes are sorted out. It appears that Riley is in a strange, out of the way place. He encounters Daddy, an elderly shopkeeper, still in love with his deceased wife. He learns more about April and her history from Daddy.

Slowly Riley and April start to fall in love. But Riley still wants to return to his life and fulfil his dreams. Will Riley’s love be stronger than his ambition? Will April be able to move on from her tragic past?

The story should be read as it resembles a Bollywood love story. I could actually imagine some of the scenes in the book as if I was watching a film instead of reading a book.  A good read, for lovers of romance fiction.

I am a voracious reader and am always in the middle of a book. I am also obsessed with coffee, makeup, skincare and fitness, though not necessarily in that order!
