MY REVIEW: The author Himanshu Rai ensured that I get a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Kartik and Ashima have known each other since their school days. Kartik fell in love with her from the first time he saw her and Ashima soon reciprocated. They call each other ‘Angel’ and ‘Teddy’. Though Kartik has differences with his father regarding his choice of career, he gets married to Ashima as soon as he is settled in his career.

After a few years, Ashima is pregnant and their lives seem to be complete. In the course of her pregnancy, Kartik writes several letters to their unborn child. He does not let Ashima read these letters.

The only thorn in their idyllic existence is that Kartik’s father is still not happy with Kartik as Kartik did not follow his wishes regarding his career choice. Also, his father did not entirely approve of his marriage to Ashima.

Events take a turn for the worse and Kartik sees Ashima on her wedding day, only Ashima is getting married to another man. How did this come about? What happened to Kartik and Ashima’s fairytale love?

I am Always Here With You is recommended as a touching love story that will appeal to lovers of romance novels.

I am a voracious reader and am always in the middle of a book. I am also obsessed with coffee, makeup, skincare and fitness, though not necessarily in that order!
